Hair Description: Mina has long blonde hair which flows to below her shoulder blades. It has a small curl to it, and turns slightly lighter after long exposure to the sun. She has no layers cut into it, so it falls flatly beside her face.
Eye Description: Mina has dark green eyes, the colour of holly leaves. In direct sun light, it is possible to see slight brown specks in her iris's.
Overall Appearance: Mina stands at 5' 7", taller than most but average enough to not draw to much attention. She has a slender build, but has a large bust and small waist. She is of an average weight, around 125 lb. She does not tend to exercise, and so is not extremely fit.

History:
Mina was born to Verona Smith, a 16 year old runaway who had been raped. Verona despised Mina, and after two years of neglect from her mother Mina was put into a children's home in Seattle. There Mina was frequently harassed by the older children into doing dangerous things, such as stealing from the local stores.
Mina was very bright, but lacked the motivation to succeed academically. She managed until her first year of high school to appear normal, but when she hit puberty her life became a misery. She developed a large bust, and was therefore frequently hit on by boys (and even once or twice by girls). As she continued to live at the Children's Home, one of the older boys took a special interest in her. George 'took her under his wing', and helped protect her from the bullies in the home. Mina began to trust him, and one day she decided to visit him in his room. He was alone, and clearly had been drinking. “You're one hot girl, Mina” he slurred at her. Mina was at first complimented by his attention, but being young she did not realise what he was doing until he began undressing her. She fought him away, but he was much stronger than her. After he had raped her, she fled the Children's Home and began living in hostels and on the streets,
She dropped out of school at 15, and went to work at a small grocery store in Forks. She lived in with one other girl who was also under-age, and one night they managed to slip into a club with false ID's. Later that night, once the girls were tipsy they were approached by an tall and rough looking man. Worried that he was a bouncer or even a cop they tried to walk away, but all he did was ask them if they wanted some more drinks. Pleased at the offer of more alcohol, they agreed. Unfortunately, the man laced their drinks with sleep pills, and once the girls were almost unconscious he asked them if wished to earn some quick money, and they unknowingly agreed. This man, JJ, became their pimp. Mina despised the men she was forced to sleep with, but needed the money. JJ had encouraged her to start taking ecstasy, and she had become hooked. She was completely under his power, and was unable to escape.
One night whilst out on a the street corner, she was approached by a blue car. She leant over to the driver, and saw it was the same man whom she had been raped by all those years ago. He had not recognised her, but in a split second decision Mina entered his car. He drove her to a shabby motel. Once inside Mina began to perform for him. After they had had sex, the man went outside to smoke. Mina was overcome with fury, and walked calmly into the small kitchen. She drew out a large 12" knife and put it under the pillow on the bed. When the man came back in, he approached her for sex again. As he was leaning over her, Mina drew the knife up to his stomach. "You don't remember. Do you?" she said, smiling. The man was clearly terrified, but a flash of recognition came across his face. He leered at her, but before he could speak Mina plunged the knife into his stomach.
After the man was dead, Mina showered off. She felt elated, free and clean. She watched as the man's blood washed off her pink body and down the drain. Finally she was happy. A few days later the man's body was discovered. Mina was fascinated
by watching the hourly updates on the investigation on his murder. She felt power coursing through hew veins. But fear kept her alert, she was sure the police would find her. But nothing happened, and Mina continued to work for JJ on the out skirts of Forks, Washington.
Personality:
Mina is extremely detached, and does not really feel empathy. She finds it impossible to sympathise with people or understand their point of view. She can become frustrated with her life, and often takes her anger out in violence. She always feels elated and free after hurting or killing something. She feels no remorse at all, in fact she is often surprised at how good the violence feels.
She likes the feeling she gets from causing pain, and feels empowered when she does so. However, she is under the power of her pimp and so has little control over her own life. She secretly fantasises about violence, and frequently can be found drawing violent sketches in her notebooks.
She is extremely bright and is very good at manipulating people and her environment. However she can also become obsessional, and is often consumed with her feelings and becomes blind to reality. She has many rituals, including an obsession with documenting her fantasises in her notebooks.
Mina is also obsessed with the supernatural even though she has no knowledge of the vampires or werewolves around her. She is obsessed with the tale of Dracula, and has fantasies about being a vampire. When she is violent, she pretends to be a supernatural, and even psychotically imagines she needs to kill to survive.
