History:
Was born April 7th in So California, lived there for fourteen years, during his childhood, he spent a lot of his free time outdoors in the backyard climbing the jungle gym, and exploring the nearby wilderness near his house. It must have been here where he began to develop his love of nature. When he was fourteen, he moved to Forks, Washington so his parents could open a sporting goods place in the Olympic Mountain area. Mike made friends easy and became a popular person during middle school
His love of sports and nature really started to show and he was very comfortable in the wilderness around Forks, or on the beaches near La Push. He looked up to his dad who fostered his love of nature.
In High School, Mike excelled in Cross Country, wrestling and Track. He made friends easily, but was never much of a ladies' man. He went out on a few dates, but never did hit it off with anyone. His Junior year he noticed a new transfer from Arizona, Bella Swan, he tried several times to attempt to date her, but couldn't quite get his foot into the door. He did date Jessica for the balance of the year, it didn't survive the summer months, but romance between Mike and Jessica was on and off again during their senior year. When Bella married Edward, he found it very hard to accept, he kept wondering about her and where she was. When he saw Dr Carlisle, he would ask about Bella, He would tell her that she and Edward were doing well at Dartmouth.
During his College years, he spent in the university of washington, working toward a business degree, He and Jessica went to different schools, but still keep close tabs on each other when they can. Mike is currently not seeing anyone, and is managing his dad's store after earning his business degree. He continues to enjoy going to the beach at La Push and hiking in the mountains when possible. Mike lives with the family to save money, and has a great relationship with his family.
Personality:
Mike's interests are athletic, he likes most sports especially individual sports like tennis. He especially likes the outdoors, whether it be hiking, or the sea, he can always expect to find him there or camping. He is an exceptional hunter and tracker, considering he is only human.
Mike likes people and he is very open about his feelings. Around women he is very impulsive, and probably a little too forward with his feelings, because of previous relationships and failures he is unsure of himself in affairs of the heart. Once you do get to know Mike, he is a loyal friend always willing to offer a hand when needed. He has a great sense of humor.
Mike wants you to be up front with him, and tell him like it is. He likes to dig in and explore things that he encounters but will take the time to step back and look at the big picture if necessary. He is dedicated to the decisions that he makes in life, and finds it difficult, to make the decisions necessary to change, once the course is set, it is full steam ahead.
The inability to let go of the past is a weakness in Mike 's character, he tends to push too hard when there is no hope. This shows in his relationship with Bella and somewhat his on again, off again relationship with Jessica. He shows time and time again that he just can't let go of the past, or things that are familiar to him. This at times can make himself obnoxious to people he is trying to get know.
This is also a strength because he is determined to get what he wants, even if it isn't the best for him. This makes him a very faithful friend to have on your side.
